Serving loaded potatoes since 2024
A Spud-Fueled Dream Begins LA Spud Guys sprouted in late 2024, sparked by a trip to England where founder Emil Avetyan discovered the magic of loaded jacket potatoes. These weren’t just any spuds—crispy-skinned, fluffy, and piled high with toppings, they were the U.K.’s answer to LA’s taco stands. Emil saw a gap in America’s food scene and decided to fill it. Fueled by TikTok clips of Spud Bros and Spudman, he launched a late-night popup in Studio City, serving bold, customizable potatoes that quickly drew crowds and even caught the eye of celebrities like Finneas.
From Popup to Potato Powerhouse What started as a tent popup became a local sensation, blending global inspiration with LA’s fast-paced vibe. LA Spud Guys offers a fresh take on comfort food, with unlimited toppings like teriyaki chicken, English baked beans, and classic cheese and bacon. By early 2025, the business was ready to grow, with a brick-and-mortar location in Studio City set to open in weeks. LA Spud Guys isn’t just about food—it’s about redefining the humble potato as a canvas for flavor, community, and creativity.
